During the pandemic many people around the world took the opportunity to make a change within their lives. Some completed something that was ongoing, read a new book, completed a renovation that may had been procrastinated on. You have people like myself that thought it was a time to take advantage of the current situation and do something that they always wanted to do. That is when I took the initiative and applied to various schools for Social Service Worker program. I was very eager to begin this journey and engaged into some barriers that was making attempts to derail me from my goals. Even with the obstacles I still managed to be approved to attend Sheridan College Trafalgar location doing the program online through distance learning. Just in time when restrictions were being removed, I was able to start my new career.
